This Inspector Aide opening will be supporting ongoing FDOT CEI contracts. Immediately this person will be supporting a project located approximately 10 miles northeast of Ft. Myers, 17 miles southeast of Punta Gorda and 18 miles west of LaBelle. As an FDOT project, the successful candidate(s) will receive assistance from KCI to obtain FDOT CTQP certifications pertinent to the position for which they are applying.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist experienced inspectors in monitoring and evaluating roadway construction activities.
• Prepare detailed and timely reports documenting construction progress, inspection findings, and testing results.
• Maintain accurate records of construction activities and measure field quantities as required.
• Conduct field tests and other necessary evaluations to verify contractor compliance with contract specifications.
• Support inspectors in identifying and resolving construction issues promptly.

Education and/or Skills Required:

This is an entry level position where no previous experience is required.

Education and/or Work Experience Preferred:

 Highschool/GED

Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:

Valid Driver’s License

Ability to pass and maintain required certifications.
