The Technical Lead for Data Centers is both a hands-on technical engineer and a strategic leader responsible for designing, managing, and delivering mechanical systems for mission-critical data centers while building and expanding our Data Center Practice. This role requires an active Professional Engineer (PE) license and expertise in mechanical design for mission-critical facilities. The Practice Leader will balance project delivery, technical oversight, business development, and team growth to position the firm as a leader in the data center market.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field (AEC Industry) and minimum of 8 years of related professional experience, or 12 years of
equivalent professional experience
• Proven track record of managing and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience in mentoring technical staff.
• Prior experience serving as a subject matter expert and providing technical guidance.
• Familiarity with ISO compliance requirements and quality management systems.
• Strong technical proficiency in the field in which they are a Technical Lead.
• Proficiency in relevant software/tools.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
• Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in developing solutions.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, team members and other stakeholders.
• Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry trends and advancements.
Education and/or Work Experience Preferred:
• Master’s Degree or any other advanced degree
Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:
• Ability to complete the KCI PM Training and Contract Training within six months of start date.
Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Preferred:
• Professional license or certification within the field of expertise preferred.
