Essential Duties and Responsibilities*:

This position is for an underground laborer.

• Identify potential safety hazards.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude a plus.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Must be willing to work evenings/weekends when required. Travel for overnight and extended stay projects are possible and should be expected.

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities are the basic job functions that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• High School Diploma or GED. 
• 0-4 years general construction experience.
• A valid current driver’s license is required.
  • Clean driving record as an outcome of a pre-employment motor vehicle records search.  
• Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical card for Commercial Motor Vehicle operation within 30 days. Having a current Commercial Driver’s License is preferred.
• Background checks may be required based upon position.

Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment. Motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
