Duties, Responsibilities & Other

The position is the front desk receptionist and meets and greets individuals and clients at the front door. Assists with a variety of miscellaneous items related to general office coordination and other duties as assigned.

 

This person must have strong interpersonal communication, technical writing, and time management skills. Candidate should possess a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite with proficiency in Word and Excel. Ability to quickly learn and utilize database, spreadsheet, editing, graphic and production software, as well as the ability to do targeted online research and summarization will be necessary for success.

  • Assists in managing the fleet including coordinating service and tracking vehicle assignments.
  • The position is responsible for managing the office checkbook and Credit card, submitting monthly statements and balancing as required and associated with the financial department.  
  • The position is also responsible for ordering supplies and materials as needed for the office.
  • Coordinates office functions and events, including ordering food and developing functions.
  • Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Office dress is business casual. Must have reliable transportation and be available to work standard office hours.
  • Represent KCI in a positive and open manner and serve as a gatekeeper for your direct supervisor.
  • Answer telephones with KCI greeting for assigned projects and handle routine requests.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment. Motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
