Duties, Responsibilities & Other

  • Support and provide electrical input to multiple Regional Practices
  • Perform QA/QC on electrical work across all Regional Practices 
  • Identify and evaluate emerging opportunities within the electrical field  
  • Develop solutions collaboratively as part of a team, from ideation and concept through service delivery 
  • Support all Regional Practices with proposals, provide data and information to ensure accurate specifications and material ordering
  • Monitor current licenses and obtain new electrical licenses where needed
  • Work in close partnership with internal and external teams of diverse and talented peers of various disciplines.
  • Mentor Electrical staff
  • Act as Electrical Safety SME
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with National Electric Codes (NEC)
  • Work closely with internal and external staff to bring turnkey solutions to our clients

Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field (AEC Industry) and minimum of 10 years of related professional experience, or 14 years of equivalent professional experience
• Proven track record of managing and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience in mentoring technical staff.
• Prior experience serving as a subject matter expert and providing technical guidance.
• Familiarity with ISO compliance requirements and quality management systems.
• Strong technical proficiency in the field in which they are a Technical Lead.
• Proficiency in relevant software/tools.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
• Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in developing solutions.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, team members and other stakeholders.
• Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry trends and advancements.


Education and/or Work Experience Preferred:
• Master’s Degree or any other advanced degree


Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:
• Ability to complete the KCI PM Training and Contract Training within six months of start date.


Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Preferred:
• Professional license or certification within the field of expertise preferred.
